This class is an opportunity to grow from a design student to a designer.

You will put into practice all that you have learned during your tenure at Stanford by developing a product from early phase need finding through what it takes to make it in the real world. Products will range from digital to physical, and systems to service. You will learn effective written, visual, and oral communication skills (this is your writing in the major class). The curriculum will adapt to support the different development paths required by each type of product. Project success will be defined by the ability to develop a product that successfully responds to user needs.
